After much faffing, I got round to priming and painting the bulkhead this week. An acid etch primer was used to provide a good key onto the galvanised surface.

Surface of the galvanised finish was a bight rough but i figured this is just part of the vehicles life story

And as if by magic…. Bulkhead is primed. I had applied a brush coat the day before but this is the sprayed finish

Next came the top coat. I had to use the smaller spray gun as the larger one was only content blowing air and not paint…. this was after having to fix an electrical fault with the compressor
