With the manifold in place, the new Double S stainless steel exhaust system can be fitted.

Paddocks sell a whole range of Double S systems for most Land Rover model (new and old) and the quality of the exhaust system far outshines the Britpart fitting kit that Paddocks supply with the system.

The exhaust system is expected to last a lifetime and is backed with a lifetime guarantee…. the fitting kit from Britpart looks like will last the winter…. Bin.

Fortunately, Bits 4 Landys manufacture a quality stainless steel fitting kit, so LGL will be getting one those. On on….

The whole system was bolted up loosely starting at the manifold. Once the baffle section was in place and the brackets aligned and tightened, all other joints were tightened up.

The mummified thing living under the land can now be unwrapped
