In the days of my Series 3 ownership (aka Gracie), I had bought a set of British military rear lights to replace the ones on Gracie (who was ex RAF) but I ever got round to it and Gracie went off pastures new.

The replacement light set I bought for LGL looked OK on the bench but when fitted, looked horrid and cheap. Genuine Lucas light are few and far between, so I’ve decided to use the set of military set I had. They’re brand new and with the added bonus of LED bulbs will add a bit more presence to the rear end.

The number plate light was also stripped, cleaned and fitted. Given the filth inside the uni, I’m amazed it managed to illuminate anything at all. Now all cleaned up and fitted with new LEDs, I’m confident the number plate will actually be illuminated.
